VPN is not needed on iPhone and most definitely causes connectivity issues. They don't provide the security you've been led to believe they do.

• Open Settings > General > VPN & Device Management - remove the VPN profile there
• Remove any VPN and Anti-Virus apps you may have
• Restart your iPhone once all are removed

There’s also the possibility that Private Relay is on.

Settings->Apple Account (user’s name)->iCloud->iCloud+ Features->Private Relay

Remove whatever VPN apps you have installed.

"Please turn off VPN....."

Do you have a VPN to turn off? Not sure?

Tap Settings > General > VPN & Device Management

What do you see there?
