Siri Interrupting Workout on Apple Watch

Siri won’t stop talking during my workouts.

My watchOS updated to 26.2.1 and now every time I change segments in a Workout Siri makes an announcement summarizing the segment. I can’t figure out how to turn her off. I have voice feedback off. I have announce notifications off. I have Siri set to prefer silent notifications. This happens in all workout types, but for my running workouts I have all pace, timing, mileage notifications set to off. I am wearing Beat earbuds but there is no Siri specific setting for headphones that I could find. I tried contacting support and eventually the support AI just suggested I take out my earbuds which like yes that will in fact solve the problem but means I can’t listen to music while working out now. I have read all of the old posts with similar problems but none of those setting changes fixed the issue.

Please help, Siri is ruining my workouts.

In the Apple Watch app on the iPhone, select Workout ... then Voice Feedback ... turn it off. You may have to turn off or mute the Workout Buddy also.

You can also do this on the Watch Workout app for specific types of workouts (such as Outdoor Bicycling) by turning off Split Alerts, but then it has to be done for each type of Workout.
