How did a random Starbucks card appear in my Apple Wallet?

I'm a new iPhone user and last night there was a Starbucks card that randomly appeared in my apple wallet. I haven't been to Starbucks in years and I have never had any account attached to this phone. I logged into my old SB account on my PC and there is no balance.

TBH I'm kind of disturbed this could happen with something like the wallet app. This seems like it should be much more secure.

Do you have any of your own cards of any kind in your Apple Wallet app? When the Wallet app is empty Apple used to put sample cards in the Wallet app so users could see what it looks like. Once a card of any kind is entered the sample cards are removed. They weren’t actually in the Wallet, it was more like a screenshot or illustration showing cards. Could that be what you’re seeing?

Are you sharing your Apple Account with anyone else? Check at Settings > [name on top], and scroll to the bottom to see if there is another device that is logged into your account.

Can you post a screenshot of? Not doubting you, just want to see if it’s a legitimate card? Do you have the Starbucks app on your iPhone?

I have my debit card and I've had a few tickets for events I've been attending. The wallet was empty when I set it up, it was just yesterday the Starbucks card showed up
