MacBook Air won't wirelessly print to Brother MFC-L3760CDW
Hi All, this is driving me crazy. I have a Brother MFC-L3760CDW series printer that I cannot get to communicate with my 2024 MacBook Air (Tahoe 26.2) via wifi. The printer is connected to the router, I can ping the IP but cannot print wirelessly. I can print if connected by USB. Each time I try to add now I get "Unable to connect to ‘Brother MFC-L3760CDW series._ipps._tcp.local.’ due to an error. Would you still like to create the printer?". The printer is created but cannot print. It is on the 2.4GHz SSID and band steering is turned off on the router. IPv6 is turned off on the printer and router. Printer is set to DHCP, no fixed IP. The certificate from the machine is valid.
I have fully removed the printer (deleting drivers from Library) and removed any Brother apps from the laptop and restarted several times. I have factory reset the printer several times and renewed the IP. Confirmed on the printer that it is connected to wifi and printer reports indicate a successful connection. The printer shows up as a Bonjour multifunction device but will only allow the Brother driver in the Use section, and no option to just Airprint.
Any suggestions will be appreciated!
