Allow apps to request tracking greyed out

Allow apps to request tracking is still greyed out even with age order 18. I do not have any screen time restrictions or vpn enabled. Signing out of media and purchases fixes this but then I cannot install apps. I am on iOS 26. Does anyone have any fixes? The tracking setting still says that I am too young.

Thank you for the help. I have turned off the setting of content and privacy restrictions. Also, my father has qustodio kids installed on my phone but the vpn is currently not on. Does that make a difference?

Remove those apps entirely, restart, and test again.

(I am deeply skeptical of the privacy and security of “coffee shop” VPN apps, and of parental controls apps generally.)

Thank you for the screenshot.

This is a Restriction Settings:

Screen Time is turned on, or a Configuration Profile is installed allowing this to occur. So, see if you need to reconfigure or turn off Screen Time and/or delete Configuration Protocols. If you parents' device, then you'll need to ask THEM to turn it off, or permit your use of the device --and the same for a business-owned device.

Screen Time Settings:

Turn Off Content & Privacy Restrictions (step three), or proceed from there, if you still need to have these used.

  1. Go to: Settings app
  2. Tap: Screen Time
  3. Tap: Content & Privacy Restrictions
  4. Tap: Allow Apps to Request to Track
  5. Check: Allow Changes
  6. Click: Back button ">" (top-left corner)
  7. Click: Back button ">"n(top-left corner)
  8. Close: Settings
