IPad will not charge Properly

iPad won't charge. On my third iPad Pro. The last one wouldn't charge. Apple Store couldn't explain or fix, so bought new model (2 yrs ago). Now this one is doing same thing.

1) I am up to date on OS.

2) I am using Apple hi-speed charging blocks, have tried three different Apple hi-speed blocks and cables.

3) It shows charging symbol, but won't charge.

4) Since purchase, I usually have to plug the cable in two or three times before it will show symbol and charge - just like the last I one.

5) These are new blocks and cables purchased when I bought the new iPad.

6) There is no debris in the charge port, the iPad is and has been at room temp and is not overheated.

7) I tried software reboot.

So, why are these devices (unlike any other device we own) so troublesome wrt charging? Is there any solve for charging issues?

Yes, various outlets, blocks, etc. No other devices (iPhones, Android phone, even older iPads) experience the same. No "infrastructure" issues in home (newer home, smart home, not a single other issue with any of a couple dozen devices of various types - just the last two iPad Pros). No issue at all (other than having to plug charging cable into iPad a couple times before it "sees" charging, displays charging symbol, and charges normally) until now - just like the last iPad, which eventually "bricked" - i.e., would not take a charge at home, work or in the Apple store. As noted, Apple Store employee could not get that one, which was just a few years old to charge either. Just weird that these iPad are so glitchy re: charging - and based on number of posts and articles, seems not rare. So, wondering if there's some straightforward remedy before dealing with support, etc.
