iPhone's Bluetooth connection keep switching to other sources

So Frustrated. Here's what happens. I have a bluetooth audio system in a theater room in the basement. I'm in that room 5 feet from the bt audio source andam listening to music via my BT, via my iPhone. Suddenly my music breaks up and switches to another audio source.. my wife's iphone and music upstairs so far away is highjacking my stream. WHY! I am so frustrated that I go into the room, connect to the bt player and am chillin to my music only to be shocked by the sudden disconnect from my music and the sudden unwanted new appearance of her audio entertainment! Also, sometimes I am in another room listening to, say, a podcast. only to find myself suddenly in silence bc my iPhone has randomly switched to another BT source from within the house! Where is the priority with BT??? why can't I LOCK onto a source! Apple has been no help in my repetitive requites for help! Anyone else experiencing similar issues???

Bluetooth Auto-Syncing Devices:

Bluetooth can only be transmitted to far, and with lots of walls, ceilings and floors that would make it even tougher to come by. So, are you certain you are not pairing this through WiFi. Are you seeing her iPhone in Bluetooth settings? Remove her your you Bluetooth Devices, and, delete ALL VPNs on ALL devices (not so certain that you can on a house stereo system, but...).

Use your Own Apple Accounts:

Are you using one Apple Account for the two of you, or are you using you own Apple Accounts? Using your own Apple Account is most-wise, as you can avoid conflicting being trusted devices, and can you can Family Share your purchases.

You may get better and prompt responses if you may kindly provide the iPhone Model that you have and the iOS version if it is known to you and re-post.

With the limited information that you have provided, It is hard to even guess the problems faced by you.
