Numbers 16.1: Cannot delete old version 14.5

I recently downloaded Numbers 16.1. Now every time I launch Numbers I get the message "Launch New Version. Numbers 14.5 is out of date and should be deleted". If I choose to use the old version it launches, so its somewhere.

I assumed that the old version is deleted when the new one is installed, and I cannot find the old version (using Search in Finder) anywhere to delete it!!

I am using a Macbook Air running Tahoe 26.2

Thank you CordellMB. I had done that before and was getting a message that the application could not be launched because it was in Trash!

I finally figured out what was happening; I still had the icon for the older version in the dock, and was using that to launch the application. I have now updated the dock, and it all works.

Thank you again.

Sam there is no Number 16 at this moment, 15.1 is latest, this is from Apple as of today Feb 23. Only thing I can suggest is to delete the App since Numbers is free from Apple it is easy to reinstall. I highly suggest if you go this route to back up your data files first.
