Are 40mm/42mm straps compatible with Apple Watch 41mm?

My apple watch series 9 has a 41 mm case but i cannot seem to buy a new strap for that size. They seem to be 40 mm and 42 mm. Has anyone bought either of these 2 sizes for a 41 mm case, as Apple saying they are both compatible with 41 mm case.
