iPhone Alarm - Dismissed without slide

Iphone alarm with update says it should only be dismissed if you slide bar. But there is a bug or something. If you tap bottom of screen (below dismiss bar but near edge of phone) my alarm stops/dismisses. I have accidentally dismissed my alarm multiple times without realizing it because it doesn’t take much. Just reaching for my phone in the morning I keep dismissing it.
