How do I fix an unstable Wi-Fi connection and transfer data from an old iPhone?

If you don't have a VPN on the phone and Wifi is broken as you suggest on it, then you'd need to pay to have the phone fixed by Apple. There's just no magic fix for a Wifi radio if it is failing. Hence why I suggested a computer transfer of data as being the best available option.

Can you go somewhere where Wifi is more stable? If not, you can backup your current iPhone to your computer with either Apple Devices on a Windows 11 computer or Finder on a Mac, then set up the new iPhone from the backup on your computer.
