Erase iPhone 14 Pro Max with no internet

My iPhone 14 Pro Max was charging and starting flashing and went green. I have tried to reset it by volume up and down, etc, but that did not work. Verizon will take the phone as a trade in. I first have to erase the phone. I have no screen. I plugged into my MacBook and went to Find My. It said it will erase the phone when it connects to Internet. I cannot get this phone to do anything but a green screen. How do I erase it if it won't connect to the internet?

iPhone 17 Pro Max, iOS 26

Not what you want......but you will need to get the phone repaired before it will be able to connect to the Internet.

Unfortunately, the cost of repairs will likely far exceed the trade in value, unless Verizon is willing to take the phone "as is" with the green screen.

Don't worry about the data on the phone, it is not accessible., and even if someone wants to repair the phone later.....that process will erase any data on the phone anyway.
