Does Apple repair or replace iPads with water damage under AppleCare One?
So unfortunately I dropped my iPad Pro 12.9" M1 1TB silver in the bathtub today. I know, stupid idea to even use it there in the first place but well..
I initially wanted to do Express Replacement since that would've been faster, but since the temporary charge is 2,139€ and I don't wanna tie up that much money I decided to do Send-in instead.
Now, being a technician myself, I am now afraid that Apple is gonna attempt to repair the iPad instead of replacing it? The power and volume buttons are already glitching out and I am pretty sure that this will eventually also corrode the logic board, which might happen after the technicians at Apple have seen my device.
So will Apple attempt to repair it and possibly have it corrode in a few weeks or will they just replace the entire iPad when sending it in instead of express replacement?
