When you are looking at Photos in the library, when you then try to add these to an album, why are the albums not in alphabetical order, this is surely something simple, even my friends Samsung phone does this task properly.

My "Add to Album" selection is in exactly the same order as the albums in the iPad's Sidebar, and those are in the same order as the albums listed in Collections>Albums. There, you can sort albums and folder by Name, Date, or just move them around.

Are the albums in your sidebar sorted alphabetically?
My Add to shows the albums in the same order as they are in the sidebar. So select My Albums and sort them by name. Then the Add to list will be listed alphabetically.
