No option to end route in Apple Maps
No option to end route on Apple Maps. Every time Apple updates, things break.

Subsequently I deleted the Maps app and reinstalled the Maps app. Problem solved.

I'm on iOS 26.2.1 and have no issues ending rout guidance once I've arrived at my destination. Things do change with iOS updates, but Apple didn't break this feature in the new iOS. See this for help --> Change or add stops to your route in Maps on iPhone - Apple Support

What people should say is I don't know how to do something as opposed to blaming an update on their lack of understanding about how to do something. It's just ever so much easier to blame Apple.
