Touch ID Not Working on Mac

I have constant problems with Touch ID on the wireless keyboard of my 2024 iMac and my MacBook Air of the same year. I have to constantly change the fingerprint multiple times a week after following all the recommended steps of cleaning the Touch ID button, restarting both, toggling off 'allow Touch ID to sign in to my Mac' and none of these work. My history over the years with Touch ID on iPhones in the past was also very frustrating until Face ID came about. Any ideas on how this might be fixed, or am I just blessed with blank fingerprints?
