Apple Music on macOS always plays the first song of a playlist when the same track appears multiple times

Apple Music on macOS always plays the first song of the playlist instead of the selected one when I click a track. I’m using a MacBook Pro running macOS Tahoe and all my music consists of local files only (no Apple Music streaming and no iCloud Music Library). This issue started after upgrading to macOS Tahoe. Before this update, I always created playlists in the same way, including adding the same song multiple times to the same playlist, and playback worked correctly. The problem now occurs whenever the same identical local audio file is added more than once to the same playlist, even in short playlists. To reproduce the issue, create a playlist with local files, add the same identical file multiple times in the same playlist, then click one of the repeated occurrences that is not the first one. Instead of playing the selected track, Apple Music starts playing the first song in the playlist. If I remove all duplicated tracks from the playlist, the problem disappears immediately. Has anyone else experienced this behavior since upgrading to macOS Tahoe?
