You might be able to put a shortcut on the lockscreen to control Hue. I've never tried it, but a quick scan of the web seems to imply that it can be done. However, TBH, if you've got face ID turned on then by the time you've picked up the phone up to press the shortcut then the phone will be open anyway, so I can't see why you'd want to do it unless you've got a phone that doesn't do Face ID.
