My iPod Classic won't sync after installing Tahoe 26.0

To billmcbirnie and sharynworc : I was having the same issue. I recently installed Tahoe 26.2 on a 3.3 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5 iMac. Almost gave up. Could only see the iPod Classic (really old, but still works) as a hard drive with no option to sync, right clicking or otherwise. Finally decided to simply restart my computer, opened Music, ejected and then reattached my iPod which I had restored, by the way, but had not synced any music) and ta-da, Music finally recognized the iPod and allowed my to sync my tunes. Just be sure do double check your sync settings in order to actually get the music onto your iPod.
