Cannot print Acrobat Reader documents on Mac Ventura

I can't print Acrobat Reader docs. My Mac is running Ventura (13.7.8) and that seems to be the latest version available for my Mac.

I have no problem printing other docs (web pages, Word, Excel, PPT, etc.).

When I launch the printer and click on print, the printer icon briefly appears in my dock, but then disappears and nothing more happens.

Any ideas how I can print these PDFs?
