Adding Citi Bank card to Apple wallet?

ISO serious help!!

I recently upgraded my phone (number kept the same, all of my apps transferred over, etc)

despite many attempts, I cannot add my citi bank credit card to my Apple wallet. Spend about one hour on the phone with them today, and they said it was a technical issue on their end, and to try again in 24hrs.

seriously contemplating just getting a new credit card at this point. Does anyone have any help they can offer? I’ve done the standard upgrade of my software, power the phone on and off, double check my region, etc. any help would be so appreciated!
