My husband got a text from a catfish/scammer. He blocked and deleted it. I saw it in the Blocked and deleted section in settings. Now it is not there anymore. He says he deleted it. So where would it be now and how can he get it back. ?? Plz help. Thank you

In the Messages app at the top right hand corner is a circle with three lines. Tap that circle and tap Recently Deleted. Deleted messages go there for 30 days to give us the opportunity to restore them if we want, but after 30 days they are permanently deleted or you can permanently delete them before 30 days if you want.

Power On without Internet Access:
If you are using Messages in iCloud trough your Mac, and it was existent while this was shown, then you should power off your router and unplug Ethernet Cables to avoid access to the Internet. Without any Internet access, and all iCloud Messages having been sync, it would show up in the iMessages app on your Mac.
