formulae now display contents of cells rather than the XY notation. This is truly awful and confusing IMO. How do I change it back. Apple - please stop changing things for the sake of it. If you must change things, allow us to choose to switch it on instead of forcing me to use new features I do not want.

I recently installed version 15.1 and it defaulted to the setting "use header names as labels". Go into Numbers settings and uncheck that. Also check that all the other settings are what you want.
