Apple Pencil Pro disconnects from iPad Air after update
Hi All -
After a software update last night (now iPadOS 26.2.1), my Apple Pencil Pro no longer stays connected to my iPad Air (6th gen, 11", wi-fi only). My pencil is fully charged. I have tried turning my Bluetooth off and on, forgetting and reconnecting the pencil, and restarting the iPad, all several times. When I put the pencil on the side of the iPad, it connects and then works for about 7 seconds, then stops working and shows as "Not Connected" in the Bluetooth settings. Similarly, if I leave it on the side of the iPad, it first shows as "Connected" and then, after about 7 seconds, as "Not Connected". Can anyone help?
It worked fine yesterday.
