How to remove incorrect info off the print page on MacAir

I have been trying to add a Brother printer to my MacAir laptop. I have contacted Brother, Spectrum and Apple. Initially, I thought the problem was the difference between Tahoe 26.2 and Brother printers. Then band steering with Spectrum. All that has been dealt with and resolved. The printer will work on iphones of others, or my iphone, but will not recognize the MacAir laptop. The printer goes on, looks ready to go but doesn't print and goes into a deep sleep. On the add printer page of the MacAir there is near the bottom a comment: Driver 4.0

I put that on there. Now I want to remove it. Does anyone know how to do that? I think clicking on that, which was a guess, created a problem. Please let me know how I can remove that Driver 4.0 statement.

Thank you,

Maxciez
