Hi all. I have iPhone 17 pro. I added Apple Pay as the only payment method in Payment&Shipping. When I want to buy a book in Books app I am asked to login and after that I get the message Payment Method Required. But yesterday it worked fine - Apple Pay opened and I could pay with it. What happened? How to fix it?

Apple's online media stores including iTunes, App and Books stores do not use Apple Pay in any way shape or form, so not sure what exactly you did to add Apple Pay to Payment and Shipping as that is not an option there.
You can add a credit or debit card or PayPal as payment sources for Books in the Payment & Shipping section in the Settings App under your Account.
You can use your Apple Cash account as a payment source, but that is not using Apple Pay. That's just using Apple Cash as a regular debit card, is that what you did?
