Hello~ What is your battery health status? Settings > Battery > Battery Health & Charging. If it’s 80% or below you need your battery replaced.

Post the screenshot of Settings > Battery that shows your green battery graph and the top apps that are consuming your battery. The is the whole purpose of the information you see there to determine if an app that is draining your battery is worth having on your device. The ones noted with background activity are using your battery even when you are not using the app. Some notable energy hogs are a couple of the Meta app, including Instagram. It is a simple test to remove an app and compare the battery usage with it removed.
If it was a bug in the OS, everyone would be experiencing the same thing and that is not the case. Certainly some may have the same app where there is a bug or intentional action of the app to use your battery.

I wouldn't call this "normal" behavior, by rather "possible". Unfortunately, there is no way to determine why, nor when, the Battery Health decreased. In fact, it can increase; as it is not just a guestimation on the Operating System's part/
Troubleshooting a Draining iPhone Battery:
A. Battery Drain Info:
The iPhone battery will drain, unless it is plugged in and charging. With lots installed, the charge would be slower. As for how fast it would drain the battery, that would depend on the battery health and the volume (sound) you use.
