Scam or a Real Apple Representative?

I received this text from a supposed Apple Support Team account. Address is a0963368961@iclou.com

Would like to know if it is a scam. Here is the content of the text:

Dear Client,

We regret to inform you that our system has detected suspicious activity on your iCloud account. Specifically, a transaction attempt of $142.93 at "APPLE STORE – CA" via Apple Pay (in pre-authorization) has been identified, along with unrecognized sign-in attempts and Apple Pay activation efforts.

In response to these security events, we have temporarily suspended the aforementioned activities. Please be advised that your photos, personal files, banking information, and linked cards may be at risk.

Should you not be responsible for this transaction, we recommend contacting an Apple Representative without delay. Failure to take action may result in an automatic deduction that cannot be reversed.

To address this issue promptly, reach us at +1 833 445-3856

Yours sincerely,

Support Team

Yes, it's a scam and a very common one at that.

Delete it and move on.
