MacBook Air 13 Startup issues

My MacBook air 13 will turn on and go to the login screen and then immediately go to a black screen even if I am trying to enter my password and will not turn back on. Please help.

Accessing your Login Screen:

Mirror your Screen:

Connect an external Screen and then mirror the display.

  • No Touch Bar: [Hold Down: option key + Press: F1 key]
  • With Touch Bar: [Hold Down: option key + Press: dim display]

Boot Up in Safe Mode:

While in Safe Mode, certain system files (caches) are fixed, and login items do NOT pen at login. Go Here: Start up your Mac in Safe Mode - Apple Support


Clear the Screen's Caches:

Ti take a few tries, buy hold down the following upon boot. You'll be holding down the power button when performing this. The F5 button is keen here.

  • [command + option + F5 + Power
  • [command + option + shift + F5 + Power]
