"error 403 forbidden logging into PGE"

-------

"error 403 forbidden":

Why the Error? You are being blocked out, perhaps not on the network's end, but rather on your end. Either way, you need to be unblocked.

A. New Credentials:

If you are required to use login credentials, then ask for a new password. Contact the Network Administrator.

B. Delete All VPNs:

Do you have any VPNs installed? If so, delete them.

C. Turn Off Pop-Up Blocking:

Are you using any ad blockers here? If so, turn them off.

  1. Go to: Settings app
  2. Tap: Apps (very bottom)
  3. Tap: Safari
  4. Toggle Off: Block Pop-ups
  5. Tap: Extensions
  6. Tap: on an extension (top-listed items)
  7. Toggle Off: Allow Extension
  8. Toggle Off: Allow in Private Browsing

What happens to me from time to time, is that I type a plain website name, but somewhere inside My Mac it remembers a complex URL of a page deep inside that site. But all I wanted was the top-level splash page.

If that is happening to you, click in the address bar, and delete all the trailing stuff so that its reads exactly:

http://PGE.com and nothing more.
