Adult Apple ID (child account) has secure app restrictions
Dear Apple Support,
I am requesting a review and permanent removal of any child account classification or restriction flags associated with my Apple ID (***).
The Apple ID was originally created as a child account under Family Sharing. The user is now an adult, Family Sharing has been removed, Screen Time has been disabled, and the date of birth has been updated to reflect adult status.
However, a banking application (NLB Pay) fails during secure activation after SMS verification. The bank has confirmed that the issue appears to be related to device security policy or account-level restrictions rather than their system. The device has been factory reset, but the issue persists when signing in with this Apple ID.
I suspect that the Apple ID may still carry a server-side child classification or restriction flag that prevents creation of new secure credentials (Secure Enclave / Keychain).
Please:
- Confirm whether this Apple ID is still classified as a former child account.
- Remove any remaining child or parental restriction flags permanently.
- Confirm that the account is fully converted to a standard adult Apple ID without payment or security limitations.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Mateja
