Macbook Pro M4 miniature screen crack

Hello, I purchased a M4 Macbook Pro around 6 months ago and have recently noticed a tiny crack on the right hand bezel of the screen no idea how this has happened but obviously very concerned about it no issues with the screen is this something to be concerned about? Kicking myself for not getting applecare but is under limited warranty very broke student so concerned.

Many thanks

Good advice man still got it on limited warranty so you never know it'll be okay im sure .

If you are under warranty I would replace the damaged screen now. It will not get better only worse (possibly.)

Tiny cracks have a habit of turning into large cracks and screen failure.

Of course if this happen you can always plug in an external monitor as a work-a-round.

Looks like something got between the lid and top case when you closed it, like a pen or some such...(?)

The damage is done. The screen will remain as it is, or not. Only time will tell.

You can worry about this tiny crack (chip?) or you can simply chalk it up to 'Life' and live with it. Maybe find a way to take it as a learning experience.

There's not much to be concerned about as it is, and worrying won't change anything.

Embrace your zen self and let it go, my friend.

Of course, if it does progress into something that needs attention, then this:

You can make a Genius Bar appointment for hardware service using this link: Contact Apple Support - Apple Support.
