Backing up for a fix (iPhone 14 Pro Max

My I-Phone 14 Pro Max facial recognition to sign in to my important sites will no longer work since I went to Mexico and used it there for a money transaction.i as able to speak with my bank verbally and verify & complete my transaction. However since i came back home to Nevada where my phone knows it’s home!! But every time i try to login to same bank and a few other places it says identification cannot be captured or something! What my question is: can I back it up to its Prior condition restore point from before Mexico trip ? And would be like it never happened?

"Restoring froma Backup:

A. As for restoring, you'd need to restore from a backup that was made of the same iOS version that is currently installed."

Well really it's the same or older iOS version, can't be a newer version.

The point is did you back it up before your trip and either archive it to your Mac or turn off icloud backups while away and haven't turned backups back on?

As I suspect the answer is no then you cannot restore anything useful.

Try resetting Facebook ID on phone and on bank app.

Getting Back to Where you Were Before:

B. Delete ALL VPNs:

Have Any VPNs Installed? If so, delete them, as they can get in the way of network traffic.

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: General
  3. Tap: VPN & Device Management
  4. Delete: EVERY VPN Shown

C. Force Restart your iPhone:
