iPhone mirroring stopped working after last software update on my MacBook

Hello, my iPhone mirroring stopped working when I downloaded the last software update on my MacBook. It seems to connect okay and then the iPhone on the MacBook goes black and it says connection lost. I have tried everything. I did raise when it initially happened but someone was not very helpful and made me feel stupid so I have left it. Any thoughts. I did try revoking and starting again but same thing happened.

Please describe your iPhone and Mac configuration and specific versions there (26.3 is current), and your local network configuration.

Please also consider describing what all you have already tried here, as you’ll probably get repeated suggestions otherwise.

i’d confirm that the iPhone and Mac system requirements are all being met, as described in the requirements section here: iPhone Mirroring: Use your iPhone from your Mac - Apple Support

If there are add-on security apps, add-on VPN apps, add-on firewall apps, add-on cleaner apps, or other such. remove all per the vendors’ documentation, restart the Mad, the iPhone, and the (probably not involved) network router, and try again.
