Hide 'Now Playing' widget on iPhone 17 Pro Max lock screen

I want to get rid of the ‘now listening’ widget on my lock screen but even after a lot of searching and googling I can’t do it.

I understand how to get rid of it when I’m not listening but I don’t want it there when I am listening as is it is blocking part of my wallpaper I want to see!

how to remove an unwanted widget from my phones screen I recently purchased a new iPhone Air 17. I did the transfer and everything came over onto the new phone from the old phone perfectly. But there's a widget, I think that's what they're called? Is on my screen and I can't get it turned off or get it to go away. I've tried rebooting my iPhone & also completely shutting it down & restarting. Could you please tell me how to get this off my iPhone 17 screen? I have a screenshot of it & it's called "listening". Can't Remove Media Widget from iPad Pro Lock Screen After I updated to iOS 18.3 a blank media player widget showed on my iPad Pro and I can't remove it. I've been through a bunch of threads on the topic and none have worked. (Someone suggested turning on Do Not Disturb. It didn't work and now I can't turn that function off.) Anybody experience this and have a fix? Thanks!

Close the app, and that "Now listening" on the lock screen goes away.

But then it stops playing the music.
