Unable to restore rotation lock icon on iPad Air 2

Hello, I accidentally removed the lock icon from my old ipad Air2 and I am unable to reinstall it in order to lock the rotation of the device. I cannot find a solution online (not in Settings, no side button etc). Any tips? Thank you!
