Existing Macs into Apple Business Manager.

Hello, we have been purchasing Macbooks and Macs from Amazon (sold and shipped) for the past two years and now want to enroll them in Apple Business Manager (ABM). Amazon just recently started their business IT services so I'm wondering if they'll be able to enroll the devices into ABM for us.

If not, what is the best way to go about enrolling these devices into ABM without a factory reset or at the very least not losing the data and configs/libraries set up on the Macs already? I can give more details if it helps answer my question. Thanks.

We purchase Macs from an authorized reseller, and most of them are 1 to 1.5 years old. Currently, we don't have an MDM setup but plan to establish one later this year. Recently, we signed up for Apple Business Manager, and we would like to add all these Macs to Apple Business Manager and create managed Apple IDs for the users. After reading the user guide, we discovered that to add Mac devices manually through Apple Configurator, we would have to factory reset them. Is there any possible way to manually add these existing Macs from the reseller to Apple Business Manager? Any help would be much appreciated

Adding existing devices to Apple business manager What will happen if i add existing, devices already in use to ABM ? At the time we didn't have ABM, when we purchased Mac devices. Now devices are not managed and we want to manage them using Intune. We can configure ABM. If i add them with Configurator to ABM, i know i need to wipe them. What about if reseller adds them to ABM (if he has option) and then i assign them to MDM Intune. Will user need to reset device and had to go through ADE or it will be possible to enroll Mac device using manual method : "sudo profiles renew -type enrollment" . Without wiping device ?

Old MacBook in DEP I have an older model MacBook Pro (13-inch, mid-2014) and I want to enroll it in ABM/DEP. Apple Configurator on iPhone only supports Monterey and up with T2 or Apple Silicon (the MacBook's last supported version is Big Sur), is it possible to enroll my MacBook in DEP with a different method? I've seen older non-T2 MacBook models enrolled in DEP, so I know they can be enrolled, I just don't know how to add them. I assume those models were added via customer/reseller numbers, though.
