When I call my husband on my IPhone to his IPhone it has started going straight to voicemail even though recently he is standing next to me waiting to receive my call. Any help would be appreciated.

Assuming you are not sharing the same Apple Account, and assuming he doesn't have this problem with other callers, I would check that you are not in his block list ( Settings, Apps, Phone, Blocked callers)
If not on the list have him erase your contact and add it back after a restart.
If he has the same problem wuth all calls have the ring time and divert settings checked with the provider

Hi I am having similar issues, also calls from some others in my contacts are going straight to voicemail.
my service provider is 3 in the UK if that has anything to do with it.
Calls from iPhone to iPhone go straight to voicemail
