iCloud payment date change and data retention?

Hi,

I’m looking to align all my bills to the 1st of each month, including iCloud which currently debits 16th of each month.

Is there any way to change a payment date?

If not, if I were to cancel and re-subscribe on the 1st March, would I lose all my stored data? Or is there a grace period to return to iCloud and retain all photos etc?

I assume any new photos etc wouldn’t be uploaded until I were to re-subscribe.

I hope that makes sense and any answers are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Alex

I would try this approach. I think, but am not certain it would work. If it fails, you still have time to Contact Apple Support without losing data.

  • Allow your iCloud subscription to renew on February 16. That will keep it active until March 16.
  • Cancel your subscription on March 1. Again, that cancellation will not take effect until March 16, so you will lose nothing until that time.
  • Re-subscribe on March 1.
