iMovie and FCP permission errors with libraries and sharing

Issues with iMovie and Final Cut Pro

Hello,

I have a Mac Mini M4 with the latest OS software. The issues I have is with iMovie and Final Cut Pro. If I try to launch a library from within those programs I get an error message:

even though permissions are given for the drive and file:

However if I launch the library from the drive directly it opens correctly.

The other issue is that when I try to Share a clip to a Folder, from either program, I get the same permissions error message. This has not been an issue in the past.

Any Ideas?

Just guessing wildly . . . try deleting the preferences (aka settings) in each app.

Hold down the option and command keys as you launch them until a window appears. Click the delete button.

You could also open System Settings/Privacy & Security and check that each app has Full Disk Access.
