Printer driver issue

I have a MacBook Pro on MacOS Tahoe26.3 and I'm trying to download the driver for a Cannon Pixma iX6820 to print my wedding invitations. Unformtunatly on the cannon website set up page, the latest driver OS listed is OS X 10.6. How can I set up this printer? going into setting and finding the printer that way will work but on airprint mode with will take away all my color correction options for high quality prints.

Have you tried https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/pixma-ix6820

-> DOWNLOADS -> Software & Drivers -> 1. Mac -> 2. macOS Tahoe v26 -> 3. iX6800 series CUPS Printer Driver Ver.16.90.1.0 (Mac) ?

Add a printer to your printer list so you can use it on Mac - Apple Support

Otherwise, as you have indicated, the printer is an AirPrint model:

Canon PIXMA iX6820 is capable of AirPrint. Use that path. No add-on drivers needed. (Why Canon points off their own Canon website for their own specs? But they do. And that PDF does list AirPrint.)

Canon doesn’t list any firmware details on their main support page, but does list how to check for firmware updates completely elsewhere on the Canon website. Here is how to check for firmware updates using the printer’s embedded web server:

If the Mac printing system is (still) not working, it can be reset: Reset the printing system on your Mac to solve a problem - Apple Support

Then here is how to add an AirPrint printer on Mac: Print wirelessly from your Mac to your printer - Apple Support
