Wallpaper photos display upside down after installing Tahoe

Custom Wallpaper ?

macOS Tahoe: MacBook Air custom wallpaper upside down

Open the photo in Preview application

Rotate it until it looks correct

Go to File >>Export

Choose a different file format like .png and High Quality

Important >> Save as a new file

Then set that exported file as wallpaper.

This rewrites the image without problematic orientation metadata.

Start now and open an Apple Support Ticket as they are Apple Employees who deal will these types of issues .

I agree with Greg. I had set Wallpaper to rotate thru my Photos and wll worked well until I upgraded to 26.3. Selecting "all photos" or just certain folder with Photos is not as easy as it was before.

Yes, custom wallpaper.

Ok, so this is a known issue and this is a turnaround?

I haven't needed to do this since Sierra...

Though, for me, wanting to have " 30,000 pictures " available for wallpaper is highly unusual , to say the least

I have 350 pictures in wallpapers, similar to other commenter, it's very impractical.
