Frequent false fall detection alerts while playing tennis and pickleball. Can I adjust the sensitivity?

I get several false fall detection alerts every time when I play tennis on my apple watch. Can I adjust the sensitivity? (or easily disable it for say 2 hours while I play??).

The notification of the fall occurs on the watch itself. It's very distracting to me and other players when it happens. I wear the watch all the time as I have AFIB so I don't remove it. The phone has nothing to do with this issue as the detection is done on the watch. Does anyone else have any ideas or do we just wait for Apple to come up with a solution?

You can turn off the fall detection during those times when you don't want it active:

Settings app on Watch => go to SOS => turn off fall detection

OR:

Watch app on iPhone. Emergency SOS => turn off fall detection

My Watch also offers an option to have fall detection active ONLY during workouts. Which might also work for you.

I think turning off fall detection only during pickleball or tennis does not pose a risk because you have other people you are interacting with then and if you were to fall, they can call for help.
