macOS Tahoe 26.3: input source (keyboard layout) switch does not work in open/save dialogs.
After the recent update to 26.3, switching keyboard language/layout does not work in open/save dialogs in all apps.
Switch does not work by both keyboard shortcut and by selection from the input source menu from the menu bar.
Switch does not work only in open/save dialogs - in the apps themselves, switch still works.

looks like there is something wrong with the input focus in the input fields on the open/save dialog. input field keeps stealing focus or something. if you press TAB to highlight some tool button, keyboard switch works. when the cursor is in an input field - in file name or search or tags - keyboard switch does not work. menu bar button [A] flashes but stays the same.

The issue is from "Automatically switch to a document's input source". Just turn it off.
I tested saving with multiple keyboards, sometimes switching worked, sometimes it took multiple attempts. In any case, it is messed up. You should report to Apple via

Same thing. "Automatically switch to a document's input source" is turned off. For me it works when using "Choose previous input source" shortcut (ctrl+opt+space) or by fn (mbp 2019) but not for "Next input source" shortcut (ctrl+space)

I have never had that turned on. Switching input sources via the input menu in the menu bar in a document save dialogue does not work right in my 26.3.
