MacBook Pro - Playing Music with Tahoe 26.3

I upgraded to Tahoe 26.3 (my mistake). I often listen to Apple Music through my MacBook Pro. Since the upgrade I can listen for a few minutes and then the system crashes. I can log back in and start the music playlist again only to have it crash again in a few minutes. This only started happening since Tahoe. Has anyone else had the same issue?

The easiest way to cause problems with macOS and the proper operation of your computer is to install anti-virus, optimizing, cleaning, security and/or VPN software. If you are running any of these the best thing to do will be to uninstall them. Apps of these types do nothing positive for the Mac that macOS cannot do.

Otherwise, see if the problem still happens in safe mode.  Safe mode will often correct weird software behavior by forcing the OS to clear caches, do disk repair and other self-maintenance and housekeeping and temporarily disables third-party mods. Sometimes just running the computer in safe mode for a little while can clear up weird behavior.

Does the problem go away in Safe mode?

If so, this may indicate an OS software conflict with your apps.

You can exit safe mode by restarting your Mac normally, then reevaluate the problem.

Music App having Issues After an Update:

If Safe Mode is of no success...

Reinstall the macOS:

Music is an app of the macOS. So, one option would be to reinstall the macOS to fix any bugs in this app. Nothing would be lost. It's just that misplaced items would be placed back to where they should be and corrupt system files would be replaced by clean files. Go Here: Reinstall macOS - Apple Support. Boot into Recovery Mode (Intel or Silicon).  Important: Prior to installing an update or performing a reinstallation, to prevent data loss, be sure to Back up your Mac with Time Machine; that way, you'll have something yo restore your Mac from, should anything go wrong afterwards.
