before downloading an app, how can I find out the price on my iPhone?

An application with a price listed will cost that price, plus tax if applicable.
An application with Get doesn't itself have a price, but may contain in-app purchases; these will be listed on its product page.
An application with Download is already associated with your Apple Account. Redownloads of applications are always free.
