i have an issue where my notification centre and music player will overlap the clock whenever i clear any notifications, the only way to revert it is if i restart my phone each time.

That's not a notification, it's your media controls as evidenced by the album art you see. And that's part of Liquid Glass as you can see from the opaque background.

Hi, do you have your display zoomed in Accessibility or Display settings? Try restoring to defaults or reset your device to defaults. Please follow the Apple Support article I linked to below.

Open Settings > Notifications - choose where a notification should appear for each app you get notifications from.
Then you may have another issue on your phone. I'd schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar and show it to Apple and have your phone tested.
On my iPhone on iOS 26.3, notifications appears where I want them and I never have to restart my phone. But you said restart, which isn't the same as Force Restart. Did you follow the directions in the link I provided?
Obviously its not notifications, i didnt have any at the time so thats the only thing i could provide. Heres a picture. As you can see its permanently stuck at the top, overlapping the clock. No, its not because of liquid glass effect. ive tried every setting already and nothing fixes this issue
Tried that already, this glitch prevents any changes to the notification style
restarting it works, but i have to do this each time the glitch happens, which is now 20 or so times.
