How to resolve Activation Lock issue after iOS update?

Apple has just updated my iOS last night and I cannot get into my phone as it doesn’t recognize my Activation lock password ??? Anyone have any suggestions?

Was this iPhone possibly purchased used?


If you have a purchase receipt for this iPhone from Apple or an Apple authorized reseller, you can start an Activation Lock request:


https://support.apple.com/en-us/108934


If not, you will need that Apple Account password.


Activation Lock shows a hint about the account used. It usually shows the first letter, and the domain.
