iPhone 16 Pro wireless charging stopped after iOS update

Hi everyone,

Since installing the new iOS update last week, my iPhone 16 Pro has completely stopped charging on any of my wireless/MagSafe chargers.

Here is what I’ve tested so far:

• The Chargers Work: My ESR Qi2 25W stand and other pads still perfectly charge my older iPhone 13 mini.

• No Case: I took the case completely off the 16 Pro—still nothing.

• Camera Bump Cleared: I placed the phone sideways to make sure the camera bump wasn't lifting it off the charger.

• Restarted: I did a force restart, which didn't fix it.

Since this started immediately after the latest update and happens across multiple chargers, it feels like a software bug. Has anyone else experienced this or found a fix? Thanks!

Apple Support will be your best resource in this instance. You need to have Apple perform diagnostics on your iPhone. It can be done in person at an Apple Retail Store or at an Apple Authorized Service Provider. You can also contact Apple Support and request remote diagnostics, but it’s not as thorough as in person method.
