Since iOS 26 iPhone no longer has the option to delete a screenshot right away after sending it. I must go into photos to do this. This is an annoying extra step. Has anyone else experienced this annoyance?
iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 26
Press Copy & Delete (in red), swipe to Messenger and paste screenshot into Messenger text window. Screenshot is deleted and also pasted into Messenger text Messenger. Press send. Easy peasy.

Tap blue checkmark in upper right corner (circle in screenshot) and dropdown menu will appear with option to delete etc.

Yeah, that would have been a good starting point. Take it up with FB. The issue lies with that app/vendor.
This option goes away once the screenshot has been sent.

There is no extra step, I've been able to take a screenshot, send it via message and then delete the screenshot.

And I’m not sure that isn’t how it has worked for quite sometime.
How are you sending it? Email, messages, something else?
